He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Sophie (Niemeyer) and Frank Hoover Siegert; his wife Doris Nell Siegert (Baty); his son Douglas Allen Siegert; his sister Joy; and his brother-in-law Ray Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Yonnie (Michael Derr), Lawayne Siegert of Bay City, Krystal (Mark Pfiester) and Darla (David Townsend); and his grandchildren, Brittany Dunnahoe, Alisha Derr, Rachel Derr, Benjaman Townsend (Pam) and James Townsend (Morgan). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carroway Funeral Home (2704 S John Redditt Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bethel Assembly of God (3863 Ted Trout Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904).
