Though Marcela may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She is survived by: her parents, Raul Gutierrez and Maria Zurita; her children, Ely Elizondo, Jheny M. Elizondo, German Elizondo and Victoria Moreno; and her siblings, Dora Cantu, Hilda Cantu and Orlando Cantu. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rivera Funeral Home (1901 Pecan Blvd, McAllen, TX 78501). A prayer was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
