She was predeceased by: her parent Essel Belle Slaughter; her husband Aaron Herman Long, Jr. (Buddy); her father Owen Slaughter; her brothers, Robert and Ted Slaughter; her mother-in-law Juanita Long; and her siblings-in-law, Bill Johnson, Margie Johnson and Jean Slaughter.
She is survived by: her children, Mark (Jamie Long), Mitchell (Melissa Long) and Mindy (Tony Casper); her grandchildren, Thomas, Ashlynn Long, Taylor, Daryin Long, Ryo, Sadie Atha, Sydney Long, Lance Long, David, Mallory Casper, Michael, Laura Norman and Daniel Casper; her great grandchildren, Claire, Piper, Blake, Henley Long, McKennon, Teagan Long, Arya McInnis-Long, Natalie Lisenby, Ophelia Atha and Reagan Norman; her brother David; and her sisters-in-law, Brenda Long and Carolyn Slaughter.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Broussard's Mortuary (134 Buccaneer Dr, Winnie, TX 77665). A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Davis Family Cemetery.
