He was predeceased by: his mother Cordelia Fleming; his sister Joyce Bandy (Alice Martin); and his daughter Linda Martin. He is survived by: his children, Susie Tristan, Mary Ann Martin and Robert Martin; and his grandchildren, Jason Brooks, Salomon Tristan, Jennifer Tristan and Melody Henry. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, and many great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Williams Funeral Home (1600 S Garland Ave, Garland, TX 75040). The military honors will be held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
