She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Phillips and Ella Phillips; her husband Jerry West; her son Jerry L. West; and her sisters, Emma Taylor, Laura Massington, Ella Morgan, Freda Noell, Mae Smith, Queen Jones and Shirley Smith.
She is survived by: her daughter Tacoma Phillips; her grandchildren, J'Maryae Washington, Karter J. West, Kysen Hall, Kolby Hall and Kayden Hall; her sister Alma Price (John Price); and her daughter-in-law Breyuna Robbins. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas (4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Community Missionary Baptist Church (2920 Fordham Rd, Dallas, TX 75216).
