He was predeceased by: his parents, Salome Diaz and Hortencia Diaz (Palos); his son John Paul Diaz; his siblings, John Paul Diaz, Luis Diaz, Concepcion Tafolla, Emma Ramos, Dora Martinez and Stella Ozuna; and his sister-in-law Ruby Diaz.
He is survived by: his wife Olga; his daughter Judy Diaz Castillo; his daughter-in-law Sara Dia; his grandchildren, Helen Flores (Juan), Danielle Parikh (Nathan), Alexis Warren (Markus) and John Paul Diaz II; his great grandchildren, Raul (Clarissa), Adam, Nicholas, Juan III, Pedro, Priya, Milo and Violet; his great great grandchildren, Azriel and Naomi; his siblings, Mary Helen Bates, Antonio Diaz and Roberto Diaz (Alicia); and his siblings-in-law, Rosa Diaz and Jesus Ozuna. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and godchildren.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Greenwood's Live Oak Chapel (3100 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (201 Thornhill Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76115). A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 at the Greenwood Memorial Park (3100 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107).
