He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Stubbs and Ottie Odam Stubbs; and his daughter Deborah Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his sister Faye Runnels; his children, Donna Sullens (Earnest) and David Stubbs (Carole); his nephews, Steve and Kieth Runnels; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Berrier, Jennifer McWhirter, Joshua Stubbs, Erin Gray, Andrea Wilson, Brittany Wilson, Adam Wilson and John Meritt Sallinger. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Trinity Terrace (1600 Texas St, Fort Worth, TX 76102).
