He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Stevens (Davis) and Earle F. Stevens; his siblings, Eric Stevens, Randy Stevens, Sue Wiknik and Pat Barrett; and his daughter Sarah Stevens.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Stevens (Forand) of Tolland, CT; his sons, Bill (Betsy Stevens) and Phil (Kristen Stevens); his grandchildren, Asher, Ellarie, Adeline and Griffin; and his brother Bruce Stevens.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home (551 Talcottville Rd, Vernon, CT 06066). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the East Cemetery. They celebrated their 50th anniversary in unique fashion during the COVID pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tunnels to Towers (T2T.org) or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS.org).
