It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph F. Kuczenski of East Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son John Puglia; his former wife Anna Marie Catalani Kuczenski; his grandchildren, Cody Kuczenski, Raymond Jr., Stephen DeMartino, Selina and Shaun Puglia; his sisters, Linda Brzozowski of North Haven and Maryann Gensicki; and his parents, Joseph C. Kuczenski and Mary Radzikowski Kuczenski.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Toni Kuczenski; his children, Joseph F. Kuczenski of Guilford, Michael F. Kuczenski of Branford, Donna DeMartino (Raymond) of North Haven and Tracy Puglia (Henry) of East Haven; and his pet Amber Rose. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Porto Funeral Home (234 Foxon Rd, East Haven, CT 06513). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Pompeii Church (355 Foxon Rd, East Haven, CT 06513).
