We are sad to announce that on April 7, 2025, at the age of 92, Ascj Eleanor Pozzo (Hamden, Connecticut) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ascj may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ascj touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Camillo and Virginia (Ferrario); and her siblings, Lena (Carolli), Louise (Berra), Emil, John, Connie (Williams) and Mario Pozzo (Mike).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Manor Chapel (261 Benham St, Hamden, CT 06514). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at the All Saints Cemetery (700 Middletown Ave, North Haven, CT 06473).
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Sr. Eleanor Pozzo to the retirement fund of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, 295 Benham Street, Hamden, CT 06514.
