He was predeceased by: his father Daniel P Young; and his brother Gary Young. He is survived by: his wife Denise Young; his mother Judith Varrichio (Moore); his sons, Daniel (Victoria) and Jeffrey (Helen); his mother-in-law Marge Bartlett; his siblings, Kim Kamins (Jay) and Greg Young (Leigh-Anne); his sisters-in-law, Karen Sousa (Chris) and Diane Ayer (Judd); and his granddaughter Elise. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spencer Funeral Home (112 Main St, East Hampton, CT 06424). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Marlborough Congregational Church (35 S Main St, Marlborough, CT 06447).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jay's memory can be made to the Marlborough Congregational Church Memorial Fund or the American Cancer Society Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
