She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos Welton and Virginia Welton (Lord); and her sister Virginia Valaitis (Welton). She is survived by: her husband Alfred Krasnowski; her sons, John (Krissy), David (Antoinette) and Bill (Liz); her nieces, Debra Melvin and Lynn LaPiere; and her grandchildren, Steven, Rob, Dylan, Liam, Elyse, Tena, Rhiannon, Tyler and Katie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lyons Funeral Home (46 High St, Thomaston, CT 06787). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Joan's name to the Thomaston Public Library, 248 Main St., Thomaston, CT 06787.
