With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Raphael A. Coia Jr. of Newington, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 10, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Christine Coia (Piermatteo) and Raphael Anthony Coia. He is survived by: his wife Patty; his children, Steven Coia (Jayne Couillard), Daniel Coia, Cynthia Coia (Jim Gregory), Michael Coia (Julie Coia), David Coia (Paula Morrison) and Tricia Coia (Mark Bouchea); and his grandchildren, Ruby, Tamara, Collin, Mitchell, Sophia, Pax and Abigail.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Newington Memorial (20 Bonair Ave, Newington, CT 06111). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
