She was predeceased by: her husband Richard "Dick" Filippetti; her parents, Alfred Frechette and Delma Frechette (Beaulieu); her sister June Thurmond; and her grandson Stephen Westfall.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Filippetti (Gail) of Mystic, Kathleen Magro (Wayne) of Ledyard and David Filippetti (Doreen) of Framingham, Mass.; her grandchildren, Arianne, Stephanie, Christopher, Aimee and Matthew; and her great grandchildren, Nicholas, Oliver, Noah and Joseph.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (32 E Main St, Mystic, CT 06355).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Betty's memory to the Alzheimer's Association of Connecticut Chapter.
