The passing of Kathleen C. McMahon of Wethersfield, Connecticut leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 14, 2025 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Cosgrove (Gibbons) and William Cosgrove; her husband Thomas F. McMahon; her daughter Sheila Verre; her grandson Daniel Verre; and her siblings, Tommy Cosgrove, Liam Cosgrove, Essie Cooley and Mary Mattar.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis (Evalyn) of Wethersfield, Thomas (Deborah) of Rocky Hill and Eileen Peterson (Kenneth) of Wethersfield; her son-in-law Mark Verre of Wethersfield; her grandchildren, Kelly, Bryan, Matthew McMahon, Megan O'Brien (Kevin), Paul McMahon, Erin, Brenna Verre, Shannon, Ryan and Connor Peterson; her great grandchildren, Riley, Tyson, Tatum and Grady; and her siblings, Michael, Anne, Ronnie and Johnny. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home (34 Beaver Rd, Wethersfield, CT 06109). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the King Parish (601 Silas Deane Hwy, Wethersfield, CT 06109).
