We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Kevin John Slane Sr. of West Hartford, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Jane Boylan Slane and James A. Slane; and his brother John Paul Slane. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Elizabeth Slane; his children, Kathleen Slane McDaniel and Kevin John Slane Jr.; his daughter-in-law Ashley Slane; his grandchildren, Sean Patrick McDaniel, Clare Elizabeth McDaniel, Fiona Josephine Slane and Niall Frederick Slane; and his siblings, Joseph Sennett (Laurel), Thomas Sennett (Beth Ann), Jean Sennett and Joan Sennett (Robert Compagna). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Molloy Funeral Home (906 Farmington Ave, West Hartford, CT 06119). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Peter Claver (47 Pleasant St, West Hartford, CT 06107).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Kevin's memory may be made to the St. Michael's College (Vermont) Memorial Gift Fund or The Michael J. Fox Foundation—causes that were close to his heart.Kevin's legacy of kindness, curiosity, and devotion to family and friends will live on in all who were fortunate to know him.
