We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2025, at the age of 81, Barbara Whalen of Middletown, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Allen R. Whalen; her parents, Samuel Dale and Genevieve Dale (Toomey); and her sister Carole Burtnett. She is survived by: her children, A. Russell Whalen of Middletown and Lisa Magnano (Santy) of Middletown; and her grandchildren, Dale, Jessica Magnano, Courtney and Christopher Whalen.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Biega Funeral Home (3 Silver St, Middletown, CT 06457). A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the State Veterans' Cemetery (317 Bow Ln, Middletown, CT 06457).
