She was predeceased by: her husband Leo D. Giattino of Newington; and her siblings, Guiseppina Chieffo of Italy, Mary D'Andrea of Bristol, Guiseppe, Elvio, Tommaso and Vito DiSabato (Duke) of Bristol.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Jaksina and Mary Ann Diorio (Joseph Diorio Jr.); her grandchildren, Jennifer Kumnick (Stephen Kumnick), Stephanie Jaksina, Jeffrey Jaksina (Sarah), Joseph L Diorio (Nicole) and Nicholas Diorio (Talia); and her great grandchildren, Avery Kumnick, Alexandra Kumnick, Jacqueline Diorio, Joseph Diorio Jr., John Jaksina, Benjamin Jaksina, Korey Harrington and Vincent Diorio. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home (411 S Main St, New Britain, CT 06051). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Church of the Holy Spirit (183 Church St, Newington, CT 06111).
