She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Milner and Lizzie Mae Milner (Chapman); her daughter Cheronda Carter; and her siblings, Lucille Van Allen, Eva May Bumpers, Richie May Rodriguez, Elizabeth Milton, Owen Shiny Milner, Homer Lee Milner, Aaron Teet Milner and Michael Milner.
She is survived by: her friend Evangelist Mary Thomas; her daughters, Genelle Carter of Hartford and Kenika Carter of Manchester; her grandchildren, Shaquoia, Imani, Rhacquel, Solange, Treavon, Keron, Omari, Jakari and Milan; her great grandchild Legend; her sisters, Fannie Mae Brown of Hartford, Nellie Milner of Hartford and Louise Milner of Hartford; and her friend Eddie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lodge Chapel (130 Deerfield Rd, Windsor, CT 06095). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
