He was predeceased by: his parents, Francois Blais and Marie-Anne Blais (Champagne); his wife Cecile Camillia Bilodeau; and his brothers-in-law, Lucien Bilodeau (Simone Turcotte), Albert Bilodeau and Leo Bilodeau (Mariette Campeau).
He is survived by: his children, Jacques, Richard (Nancy Horanzy), Germain (Patricia Bascetta), Marc, Lorraine (March Thompson), Real, Clermont (Kimberly Martin), Maxine (Tony Lopes) and Doris; his grandchildren, Leilani Thompson, Jeffrey Blais (Melissa Morton), Christopher Thompson (Amber Sanabria), Stephen Blais, Lucy Blais, Tyler Strom, Jonathan Nunes (Aoi Sasaki), Kevin Blais, Sabrina Strom, Tony Nunes, Jessica Lopes (Nolan Guillemette), Justine Strom (Michael Wood) and Nicholas Lopes; his great grandchildren, Jacob Mediavilla and Aubrey Fitzgerald; and his sisters-in-law, Simone Bilodeau (Robert) and Monique Bilodeau (Boulanger). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM and on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home (419 Buckland Rd, South Windsor, CT 06074). A procession will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Margaret Mary Church (80 Hayes Rd, South Windsor, CT 06074).
