He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Allen and Helen Louise Allen (Whipple); his son Michael Kenneth Allen; and his siblings, Annie Jean Edney (Allen), Kenneth Allen, Helen Allen, Jimmy Brown of New Britain, Harold Allen of Hartford and Diane (William H. Seymour, Jr.) of New Britain.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sheila B. Allen and Natasha S. McMillian (Jarrod McMillian); his grandchildren, Jamie N. Allen, Kamau Hightower, Korahn C. Hightower, Damien J. Brown, Tyrese J. Love and Kylie J. Brown; and his sisters, Elizabeth Allen of New Britain, Annie Ruth (Johnnie Hill) of New Britain and Inez. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethesda Apostolic Church (249 Stanley St, New Britain, CT 06051). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
