With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shawndalyn D. Rodriguez of Windsor, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 27, 2025 at the age of 51. She was predeceased by: her adoptive father Kenneth H. Mitchell; and her sister Jamilla Hooks. She is survived by: her parents, Robert W. Hooks and Shawn Williams; her husband Jose Rodriguez, Jr.; her former husband Dale Moore; her children, David J. Moore, Mason Rodriguez, Gabrielle Moore and Zoe Moore; her siblings, Kenneth H. Mitchelle, II, Justin Rice, Randall Rice, Kentrell, Robert Hooks, Jr., Vincent Hooks, Mary "Precious" Walters and Nicole Hooks; and her godmother Donna Burges. She is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, in-laws, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Henry L. Fuqua Funeral Service (94 Granby St, Bloomfield, CT 06002). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
