It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stanley J. Solek Jr. in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on April 27, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Solek and Mary Solek (Kulakowski); his brothers, Joey and Roger; and his son Keith Benson Solek.
He is survived by: his siblings, James (Florine), Barbara Malina (George), Kenneth (Alma) and John (Debi); his children, Michael (Amber), Douglas (Angela) and Kylee Panetta (Neil); and his grandchildren, Jayce, Reid Panetta and Kipp Solek. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Erickson Hansen Funeral Home of Berlin (111 Chamberlain Hwy, Berlin, CT 06037). The military honors will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the VA Connecticut Healthcare System.
