It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Kocur in Wethersfield, Connecticut, who passed away on April 29, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Janusz (Zofia Szymanowski) and Basia. She is survived by: her husband John Kocur; her children, Latisha Valentine (Edmund), John Jr. (Ilona Kocur) and Jason (Jen Kocur); her grandchildren, Taliah Elektra, Tatianna Storm and EdMoon Zavier; and her siblings, Henry Szyman, Robert Szymanowski and Halina Brojek. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Duksa Family Funeral Homes (332 Burritt St, New Britain, CT 06053). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (158 Broad St, New Britain, CT 06053).
