Though Edward may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Edward touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Saturnino Oquendo. He is survived by: his mother Lucy Gonzalez; his son Joshua Oquendo; his sister Marisol Manacchio (Wayne); and his nieces and nephews, David, Tristan, Chelsea and Jacey. He is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (250 Gypsy Ln, Meriden, CT 06450).
