It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shawn Patrick Dougherty of East Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on May 3, 2025, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Dennis Dougherty and Susan Dougherty (Marlowe); his daughters, Michelle Dougherty of Rocky Hill and Aubrey Dougherty of Manchester; his sister Shannon Presciutti (Vincent); his nieces and nephews, Ava, Annalease and Vincent "Sonny"; his aunts and uncles, Marileen Dougherty-Titus (Daniel) and Marcia Coleman (Bruce); and also, Elizabeth Dougherty and Zaida Dougherty. He is also survived by cousins, and loyal lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Newington Memorial (20 Bonair Ave, Newington, CT 06111). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
