He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Petro and Helen Petro Sr. (Pizzola); his son David C. Petro; and his brothers, Francis J. Petro Jr. and Peter Petro.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Petro (Skiffington); his son Stephen F. Petro; his stepsons, Thomas Bremer, James Caturano III and Josh Caturano; his nephews, Paul Petro and Patrick Petro; and his granddaughters, Leah Petro, Allie Petro and Penny Bremer.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire (615 S Main St, Cheshire, CT 06410).
