The memory of Donald R. Seifel Sr. of Farmington, Connecticut, who passed away on May 2, 2025 at the age of 95, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Carlson; his parents, Albert Seifel and Henrietta Seifel; and his siblings, Harold, Richard, Larry Seifel and Caroline Nyack.
He is survived by: his brother Norman Seifel; his children, Donald R. Seifel, Jr., Lori Rohm (Phil) and Lynn Kaufman (Bob); and his grandchildren, Kirstin Coffman, Karl Dinkler, Kenneth Kaufman, Kevin Kaufman, Kristen Nielsen and Megan Nielsen. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home (411 S Main St, New Britain, CT 06051). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Bethany Covenant Church (785 Mill St, Berlin, CT 06037).
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations in his memory be made to the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic, 223 North Lime Street, Lancaster, Pennsylvania 17602 as well as the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75231.
