He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ducharme, Sr. and Minnie Fornabi Bartolucci; his siblings, James Bartolucci, Marion Caruso Turnberg and Estelle D. McNamara; his niece Danielle Hamley; his nephew Michael Caruso; his great-nephews, Corey Hamley and Anthony; and his great-niece Colleen Caruso.
He is survived by: his nephew James McNamara.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph (140 Farmington Ave, Hartford, CT 06105). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, in typical George fashion, he requested that those who attend his services bring a bag of non-perishable items to be donated to local food banks. Monetary donations can also be made to the St. Joseph's Cathedral Foodbank or Loaves and Fishes of Hartford.
