He was predeceased by: his parents, Gottfried Bahler and Olga Bahler; and his siblings, Owen Bahler and Glenna Moser. He is survived by: his wife Aline F. Bahler; his children, Vern Bahler (Jean) of Ellington, Karen Luginbuhl (Bruce) of Ellington, Ron Bahler (Bonnie) of Ellington and Carole Gerber (Jeff) of Ellington; his grandchildren, Marcy Kaeb (Myron), David Luginbuhl (Jackie), Seth Bahler (Taylor), Nate Bahler (Kate), Ashley Wagenbach (Ben), Carly Bahler, Tom Gerber (Julianne), Josie Schneider (Jake), Eric Bahler, Benjamin Bahler (Heather), Brian Gerber (Halie), Kent Bahler and Chad Gerber; and his sisters, Audrey Graf of Wadsworth and Kay Luginbuhl of Ellington. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Longview Fellowship Center at the Apostolic Christian Church (34 Middle Butcher Rd, Ellington, CT 06029). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 11th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at the Apostolic Christian Church of Ellington (34 Middle Butcher Rd, Ellington, CT 06029). A burial will be held on Sunday, May 11th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Ellington Center Cemetery (95 Maple St, Ellington, CT 06029).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Apostolic Christian Church of Ellington Alms Fund, 34 Middle Butcher Road, Ellington, CT 06029.
