It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Antonio Gonzalez of New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on May 7, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Bayer Gonzalez; his parents, Nestor Gonzalez and Rosa Gonzalez; his son Antonio Gonzalez, Jr.; his stepdaughter Maryann Kavanagh; and his granddaughter Cindy Yesenia.
He is survived by: his children, Rose-Ann Carrero, Cindy-Lou Soto, Patti Ann Santiago and Tina Marie Gonzalez; his stepson David Petrelli; and his siblings, Iris, Rosa, Benjamin and Ismael Gonzalez. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. (11 Wooster Pl, New Haven, CT 06511). A Mass will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Church (397 Ferry St, New Haven, CT 06513).
