It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Andrew Lach Jr. of Torrington, Connecticut, who passed away on August 18, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew S. Lach, Sr. and Susan Lach (Grinvalsky); his brother Robert S. Lach; his brother-in-law Donald Emmanuel; and his cousin Bernard "Bernie" Lach.
He is survived by: his wife Joan E. Lach (Ruzbasan); his daughters, Susan Lach of Manchester and Cathie Mastrogiovanni (Matthew) of Torrington; his granddaughter Mia K. Mastrogiovanni of Torrington; his close friend Al Sondrini of Torrington; and also, Mike and Linda Rovero. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home (258 Prospect St, Torrington, CT 06790). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Church (107 E Main St, Torrington, CT 06790). A burial will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the New St. Francis Cemetery (863 S Main St, Torrington, CT 06790).
At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John Paul the Great Academy, 360 Prospect St., Torrington, CT 06790.
