It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James A. Curtis of Harwinton, Connecticut, who passed away on August 19, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Blanche (Manderville) and Raymond Curtis; his brother Allison; and his siblings-in-law, Bill and Marilyn Childs.
He is survived by: his wife Corinne Curtis (Kemezis); his children, David Curtis (Susan) of Barkhamsted and Susan Wright (Frank) of Harwinton; and his grandchildren, Alyssa Odell (Michael), Justin Curtis, Andrew Wright and Lucas Wright.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cook Funeral Home (82 Litchfield St, Torrington, CT 06790). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Church (25 South St, Litchfield, CT 06759).
