With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis M. Starkie (Hartford, Connecticut), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 21, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Moylan (Sport) and Rose Moylan; and her brother Alfred Moylan Jr. (Buddy). She is survived by: her husband Willard Starkie; her sister Carol Dunne of Tequesta; her daughters, Cheryl Edison (Jerry), Alicia Starkie and Lynne Stanley (Bob); and her grandchildren, Peter Cianfaglione, Christine Edison Kozma, Amanda Edison Sullivan, Billy Cianfaglione and Lilly Stanley.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 from 5:00 AM to 7:00 AM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ahern Funeral Home (180 Farmington Ave, Hartford, CT 06105).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Francis Foundation directed to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
