He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominic Colangelo and Mary Colangelo; and his siblings, William and Jean Bruno (Colangelo). He is survived by: his wife Joan Colangelo (DiLullo); his children, Pamela Meyer (Skip), Michael Colangelo (Aida Velez) and David Colangelo (Kelly); his grandchildren, Samantha Macias (Eddie), Christopher Meyer (Cara), Lindsey Meyer (Ashton), Michaela Colangelo, Amanda Donacchie (Scott), Dominic Colangelo and Joseph Colangelo; and his great grandchildren, Mariah, Avery, Mal, Brooks, Callahan, Maci, Freya and Wells. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Cook Funeral Home (82 Litchfield St, Torrington, CT 06790). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Peter Church (99 E Main St, Torrington, CT 06790).
