He was predeceased by: his parents, Aleck Murkowicz and Sophie Murkowicz (Los). He is survived by: his friend Sandra; his wife Sandra DeForge; his children, Cheryl Murkowicz and Kyle Murkowicz (Leslie Kynik); and his sisters, Judy Walker (David), Barbara Murkowicz and Sophie Basile (Edward Basile). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home (441 Spring St, Windsor Locks, CT 06096). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's King Street Cemetery (1558 King St, Enfield, CT 06082).
