She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Gartz (Johnson) of Georgia and William August Gartz; her grandfather Mark English of Cooleemee, NC.; and her sister Dr. Helen G. Beddoe of Waveland, MS.. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Unfried; her daughter Gretchen Unfried-English; her son-in-law Alan English; her grandchildren, Everett of Hartford, CT, George of Hartford, CT and Catherine English of Hartford, CT; her siblings-in-law, Steve and Amy Unfried of Wilson, WY; her sibling's children, Lynne Bates (TX), Karin Goodfellow (TX), Lydia Unfried (NY), Juliet Unfried (WY), Marc Beddoe (MS) and Thomas Unfried (WA); and also Mildred.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Grace Lutheran Church (46 Woodland St, Hartford, CT 06105).
