It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Jackson of Torrington, Connecticut, who passed away on August 19, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Randolph Brancato and Florence Brancato (Cossidente). She is survived by: her children, Nathaniel Jackson (Jenn), Amoreena Schoonmaker (Bobby Willis), Seth Jackson and Levi Jackson (Lindsay); her grandchildren, Logan, Connor, Emaline, Shayla, Riley, Keira, Reid, Isabelle and Emmy; and her siblings, Lawrence Brancato (Rosemary), Gale Brancato (Tom Newman), David Brancato (Ann) and Robert Brancato.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home (258 Prospect St, Torrington, CT 06790). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The Vincent House in Wayland NY or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
