He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Brown Schaffer; and his brother James Schaffer. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Leonard A. Lewis Jr. and Christine Kellie (Mark); his siblings, Sanra Schaffer and Joseph Schaffer; and his sister-in-law Ruby Brown.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the D'Angelo Funeral Home (22 S Main St, Middletown, CT 06457). A burial will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Calvary Cemetery. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Sebastian Church (155 Washington St, Middletown, CT 06457).
