With heavy hearts, we announce the death of MaryAnn Dixon of Windsor Locks, Connecticut, who passed away on August 26, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert F. Dixon; her parents, Perley G. Burns and Elizabeth F. Burns; her friend Jerri Iskra; her siblings, Elizabeth M. Burns and William A. Burns (Patricia A. Burns); and her nephew Peter G. Burns.
She is survived by: her friends, Mary Podann, Nancy Levy, Carolyn Haboian and Dale Lefebvre; her children, Donna M. Dixon of East Windsor, CT, Patricia A. Dixon of East Windsor, CT, Robert E. Dixon (Laura) of Ellington, CT and Daniel J. Dixon of East Windsor, CT; her grandchildren, Renee Mello, Shaun Mello, Julia Jaminet, Benjamin Jaminet, Brady Barsalou, Ashley Dixon, Michael Dixon, Jordan Dixon, Alexandra Dixon, Kelsey Chartier and Jason Chartier; her great grandchildren, Carter Rodriguez and Kayden DiRenzo; her brother John J. Burns (Pamela) of Windsor, CT; her godson Christopher A. Burns of Stafford Springs, CT; her nephew William A. Burns Jr. of Enfield, CT; her great-nieces, Lindsy and Deanna Burns; and her caregiver Pam Fowler.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home (441 Spring St, Windsor Locks, CT 06096). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Gate of Heaven St. Mary Church (42 Spring St, Windsor Locks, CT 06096).
