With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David French of Higganum, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 25, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping David's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence L. French and Vivian French (Wall). He is survived by: his wife Kyllikki M. French (Linna); his children, Lisa French (Paul Landry) of Alberta, Canada, Erik French (Alexandra) of Massachusetts and Jordan David French of Higganum; his sister Emily Holton (Eddie) of South Carolina; and his grandchildren, Owen David Landry and Luna Landry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The military honors will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the State Veterans' Cemetery (317 Bow Ln, Middletown, CT 06457). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the First Church of Christ (250 Main St, Wethersfield, CT 06109).
