It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard N. Formica Sr. (Guilford, Connecticut), who passed away on August 26, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Dawn Bigelow Formica; his siblings, Rita Arpaia and Larry A Formica; and his parents, Lewis A Formica and Nellie Decerbo.
He is survived by: his sons, Dr. Richard Formica of New Haven, CT and Glenn Formica; his wife Megan of Guilford, CT; and his sister Josephine Villecco of Cheshire, CT. He is also survived by four grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Christ Episcopal Church (11 Park St, Guilford, CT 06437).
