Though Vito may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Schiavo and Martha Schiavo (O'Connor); his son Anthony; and his brother Rocco. He is survived by: his wife Diane Schiavo (Santos); his sister Victoria Schiavo of Naugatuck; and his grandchildren, Vincent, Dempsey, James, August and Elizabeth. He is also survived by 5 beautiful grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care (1987 E Main St, Waterbury, CT 06705).
