He was predeceased by: his brother Brent Flavell; and his son Shawn Flavell. He is survived by: his wife Carmel Flavell (Purcell); his children, Erin (Lucas), Allison (Travis) and Emily (Tony); his grandchildren, Dylan, Owen, Aylan, Ari and Logan; his siblings, Jeff Flavell and Paige Hamilton; and also, Herbert and Beverly Flavell.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the John F Tierney Funeral Home (219 W Center St, Manchester, CT 06040). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM at the East Cemetery (220 E Center St, Manchester, CT 06040).
