With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas H. Pluff of Newtown, Connecticut, born in Monroe, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 31, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Chandelle Albert; and his parents, Hayden Pluff and Margaret Pluff. He is survived by: his wife Sherrie Pluff; his children, Claudine Pluff Stephens, Kevin Pluff (Caitlin Pluff), Carie Koehler (Chris Koehler) and Elesa Malo (Jeff Malo); his siblings, Denise Williamson (Kevin Williamson) and Michael Pluff (Christine Pluff); and his grandchildren, Taylor, Dylan Albert, Greyson, Nora, Margot, Luke, Finn Pluff, Jack, Josalee, Justin, Juliette Koehler, Jolie and Bennett Malo.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cornell Memorial (247 White St, Danbury, CT 06810). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary Church (26 Dodgingtown Rd, Bethel, CT 06801).
