He is survived by: his wife Pia DeRosa (Leone) of Watertown; his children, John DeRosa (Mariana) of Unionville, CT, Dr. Maddalena Brown (Peter) of Hickory, NC and David DeRosa of Watertown, CT.; his granddaughter Karla DeRosa; his stepgrandchildren, Michael, Meghan and Matthew Lauer; and his sister Antoinetta Blasi of Taranto, Italy..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chase Parkway Memorial (430 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception (74 W Main St, Waterbury, CT 06702).
