With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eric W. Estes of Dayville, Connecticut, born in Perth-Andover, New Brunswick, who passed away on August 28, 2025 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eric W. Estes to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his father Kermit Clifton Estes. He is survived by: his mother Beatrice Estes (Hanson); his wife Irene; his children, Tamira Estes, James Estes (Rachel), Peter Estes (Susana), Jenny Lussier (Justin), Gui Estes, Mary James (Tom), Yu Xia Estes, Kai Pfaffle (Steve), John Estes (Katie) and Guo Qian Estes; and his pets, Simba, Nala, Siamese and Arabella. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, one great grandchild, a brother-in-law, an uncle, and four nieces.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gilman Funeral Home (104 Church St, Putnam, CT 06260). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. James Roman Catholic Church (12 Franklin St, Danielson, CT 06239).
