We are sad to announce that on August 30, 2025, at the age of 86, Lucia V. DeRocco of Waterbury, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carmine Mancini and Anna Mancini (Mancini). She is survived by: her children, Ann F. DeRocco of Waterbury, Norine DeRocco-Redzepi (Guri) of Marion, Frank DeRocco (Stacey) of Naugatuck and Maria Castillo; her grandchildren, Tyler Berry (Carli), Christofer Berry, Artan Redzepi, Alexa DeRocco, Danielle DeRocco, Meloni DeRocco, Luis Castillo, Jr. and Diego Castillo; and her great grandchildren, Alivia and Nico Berry.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chase Parkway Memorial (430 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 at 8:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception (74 W Main St, Waterbury, CT 06702).
