It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Gaetano of North Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on August 30, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Peter departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Peter may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Peter leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Gaetano and Ann Esposito Gaetano; and his sisters, Etta Gaetano Pittala and Ann-Louise Gaetano DeSorbo. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Calamita Gaetano; his sister Andrea Gaetano Polinsky (Eric) of Woodbridge; and his sibling's children, Danielle Pittala Marple of Venice, FL and Matthew Polinsky of Woodbridge. He is also survived by two great-nieces, and a great-nephew.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sisk Brothers Funeral Home (3105 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT 06518). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
