Jerome Brooks

We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2026, at the age of 70, Jerome Brooks (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl T. Turner-Brooks and Mattie J. Turner-Brooks; and his siblings, Roemel Brooks, Eddie Joe Brooks and Linda Stokes.
He is survived by: his children, Shamiko Brown (Kenny), Teon Brooks, Ashley Brooks, Jerome Q. Brooks and Danielle Brooks; his siblings, Thomas Brooks (Ingrid Hicks), Rosie Ivory, Renee Brooks-French, Sandra Brown (James) and Lavenia Tunstall (Albert); his in-laws, Johnny Stokes and Janet Brooks; and his former wife Lena Brooks. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the The Box (311 E Wisconsin Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53202).
